90 Miles Cuban Cafe

90 Miles Cuban Cafe is a great place to experience authentic Cuban cuisine here in Chicago. It is located on Armitage in the Logan Square neighborhood. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and the service is friendly. If you're looking for a taste of Cuba, be sure to check out 90 Miles Cuban Cafe.

The menu features traditional Cuban dishes, such as ropa vieja, fried whole snapper, Cubano sandwiches, lechon, and croquetas. Additionally, it allows patrons to BYOB for $7 per bottle of wine or spirit and $5 per six pack of beer. They sell mixers to make mojitos, margaritas, palomas, and sangria.

Not sure what to bring? Use the following guide to help you decide:

Wine

You can't go wrong with red wines from Spain. Rioja (Tempranillo) and Garnacha (Grenache) will excellently pair with the red meat. If you prefer white wines, look for one with good acidity and tropical or citrus notes. These can include Rhone style whites (Marsanne, Rousanne, Viogner), Rieslings, and Sauvignon Blanc. A refreshing rosé is another great option to bring especially if you are dining outside during the day. Furthermore, your server can provide you with Sangria mix. The above wines will work for that as well!

Beer

A light, crisp lager is your go to for Cuban food. While we do not have access to Cuban beers here, look for ones that are made in the Caribbean or Latin America for a similar vibe.

Spirits

In addition to beer and wine, 90 Miles also welcomes hard alcohol. They sell mixers for mojitos (bring a light rum), palomas and margaritas (bring a tequila blanco).
